When I mentioned it to one of the midwives in the hospital, she looked kind of surprised. She told me to go to the bathroom often so that my bladder doesn't get full-full, and to do a bunch of kegels. I got the impression that we're waiting to see how I'm doing at my 6-week check-up.

It's been two days since I posted that, and I'm doing a little better. I can hold it better during the day and only go through one or two pairs of Depends, but at night, I wake up with a full bladder and lose it as soon as I stand up. Baby steps, I guess.

I just sneezed with a non-empty bladder without leaking any urine. That this is post-worthy makes it a TMI kind of event.

So the other day I was on the BF board and saw this thread about BF Baby Poop and the various smells it can produce. (Well worth a read-you will laugh and laugh!) Someone actually said they thought their baby's poo smelled good enough to eat. :Puke Clearly these people are on crack, right?!?

Well... something exploded from my child's butt today that honestly smelled like a hearty casserole with some sorta mayo based creamy sauce that I could have just dug right into...

And THAT ain't RIGHT, people!

However, i remember hearing how sweet baby poo smelled (bfing moms) and my DS was stinky the first couple weeks...but then it did get awfully sweet smelling, not repulsive at all.

Okay, I've isolated the smell better. I'm changing my description to something more like sour cream... like some really rich sour cream based tangy sorta sauce.

Before I even got to your last post, Alpaca, I was going to say that I always thought my DD's poop smelled like the butter-flavored oils they use for cooking popcorn. But instead of my thinking, "Mmm, this poop smells good," I went the opposite way. I couldn't walk down the microwave popcorn aisle at the store without retching a little bit.
