I've been blocked

My company has blocked my computer from accessing ravelry. It is a very very sad day in my world. Ravelry is what kept me going through the incredibly slow, boring moments at my job without falling asleep.

That would scare the crap out of me! (Not the losing Ravelry part, though I definitely understand your pain!!!, but rather the "they've noticed I'm not working" part! YIKES!)

It'll just be more exciting when you log on in the p.m. - how about just knit instead during those slow times

You could try using Google as a Proxy to view the website (your computer says' its at Google, not the website) Here are two ways....
1. Use Google as a Free Proxy: Enter cache: website.com to view a Web page that’s been blocked from the computer you’re using. (Lifehacker.com 2008)
2. use Google translator options as the proxy (translate from English to English). See this article on lifehack.org

Using the proxy will let your see the site - not sure you can upload, etc...

It's not that I'm not working, but that I am a receptionist at the moment, and I have some MAJOR downtime for at least a few hours (spread out) a day. They are ok with me being on the web, I think it just looked bad because I never closed my browser. Shoot.

As far as knitting, I have tried that, too. But the bosses didn't like it because it made the office look "less professional." I am pretty much just allowed to read (I can read whatever, as long as it doesn't have graphic pictures, if you catch my drift), so i think I am going to have to raid my bookshelf this weekend, and maybe make a couple of amazon purchases while I'm at it.
