List of children's books??

Hi, I am wondering where to find a list of great children's books. My kids are almost 6, 4.5 and 9 months. I thought there was one on Mothering somewhere, but I can't find one. Hopefully someone here nmight know where there is a list, reviews would be a bonus!!

Hi-I didn't find the list for you, but we love any books from Chinaberry, Barefoot Books and Usborne. They all have websites and things broken in to category by age.

Top of our list for 4 yo's would be "Henry and Mudge" books.

Top of our list for 6 Yo's would be "The Littles" and "The Boxcar Children."

For the 9 mo -- there is a sweet book about a monkey -- its called "Hug." Favorite for babies around here.

Thanks mamas! I for got about the littles!! MD~I loved them if your 6 yr old loves the littles, you guys should try the borrowers. They were one of my favorites too!!

LL~I totally forgot about Chinaberry, haven't even looked at my catolog in a year or so, and I've never heard of the other two.

For inexpensive (we're talking as low as $1.50!) children's classics, you can't beat Dover Publications . They have the absolute largest collection of fairy tales I've ever seen, plus punch-out masks, sticker books, paper dolls, games and puzzles, and reproductions of some hard-to-find classics. It takes a while to see everything on their site, but they do have a "real" children's book catalog you can order.
