Question about a scale for baby...

For those of you who've purchased some sort of scale to weight the baby, if yours isn't digital (I don't know what the "dial" kind are called) does it show ounces, too?? I want something pretty accurate (perfectionist ) and nearly all of the hanging scales I've seen have lbs/kgs but don't have ounce markings, and I don't want to have to guestimate. The "table top" type scales usually do, but those are on the spendier side and I'm trying to find something affordable. Also, as far as the hanging digital scales go, I've heard mixed reviews on their accuracy...any thoughts?

Mine has pounds and every two ounces. I bought it for apprenticing though, I wouldn't have paid that much for just one baby. See if someone has one that you could use.

Nope...no one within at least 3 states has one. LOL I'd like to buy one for my own use (long-term) anyway. Just want to get one with ounces. I've been watching used prices and stuff but none have ounces.

If you end up having to buy a really pricey scale, rig it up to use as a food scale after words and get a bunch of European recipes that are all in grams.
