Grateful

Hello everyone,

As January draws to a close I just want to write and say how thankful I am for each and every one of you. This is our first, and finding this forum has truely been a blessing. I haven't written very much but I've read a lot and learned a lot. It's been wonderful to know that when I did have a question I had a group of like minded mama's willing and ready to share their experiences and support. Reading posts like "new mama's vent" reminds me that I'm not alone in the feelings and questions I have. It's amazing to me that women, most of whom have never met (and who I'll likely never meet), can share this incrediable experience of being pregnant and giving birth. Each January I will continue to think about you all and this time in our lives. If you're ever traveling through North AR you're always welcome at our place.

that is really sweet. i feel the same way as you do. i don't know what i would do without everyone here. especially since i do not have irl like-minded friends. you have all been such wonderful support this entire pregnancy and i'm glad to have shared this experience with all of you.

i'm hoping that we can continue into life with a babe and beyond, continue with the support and love
our ddc from my dd1 is still going very strongly, from '05 ~ and i hope we can keep this wonderful group going as well

I've mentioned already how extremely grateful I am. Its been so relieving this late in the pregnancy to find the kind of support I needed and feel like less of a freak for going so long (shout out to angie!!!) and feel surrounded by a community of mamas who feel like I do and have similar values. Such a wonderful welcoming feeling. Thanks for welcoming a late-comers ladies.

Yes I have to agree with you all...All the mamas here been so wonderful and so helpful during one of the most important times in my life.

ditto the expressions...I said it in my birth story and I'll say it again...having this group has made a huge difference for me. Huge. I cannot even say how huge.

Yep me too. I can't tell you how many times I've said to dh, "The women in my ddc are all going through the same thing." And many times I've felt like coming to vent here is a bit like journalling, you know? People are so supportive. And it's fun to chat. Yay us!
