Full Moon Feast - Page 2

I was going to post the same thing and deleted it. I realize that I read it while trying to incorporate meat for health reasons, but I was still VERY much opposed. This book (after being read several times!) really eased the transition. It is so gorgeous and respectful. I love the richness of the tradition.

Just FYI, you can order this book directly from the author at http://www.fullmoonfeast.com/moons/ , and she'll get a larger portion of the price than when the book is sold through a book retailer. And she'll sign it for you.

This is absolutely one of my favorite books ever, whether about food or not. Top five.

I just wish it came in hardcover. I know it's probably not as eco-friendly as paperback, but the cover started coming apart the day after I got it. A book as swell as this needs a cover that can take the love.

i borrowed my copy from the library and the cover is almost fallen off! i wonder why such a delicate cover was put on, maybe its less expensive but its too bad.

I've actually thought about taking mine to the library & asking our librarian if she could put that plastic cover on that the other books have. I can't find one that is that well made in Staples.

ooh, good to know. and even with shipping it would cost me the same to get it from her than from b&N. it's coming to my local b&n, so i'll look through it and make sure it is really something i want and then, assuming it is, i'll order it through the authors site.
