Severe decay - can it be halted/healed/sealed, or is extraction the only option?

Does anyone have any success stories of halting, healing or reversing severe decay? When I say severe, I mean below the gum line and likely to the root.

I am reading other threads, including Curing Cavities with Nutrition, but there is soooo much information and soooo many posts. I will continue to read, but I would really like to hear from anyone who has any experience first hand or from someone they know personally.

I am planning to do a major dietary overhaul to a traditional diet, start taking CLO and butter oil, and I am trying to get in on a group who does a bi-weekly purchase of raw milk. We are using some xylitol as well.

I plan to make these changes regardless of whether or not there is any hope for this tooth, because I have other dental issues as well.

Not only would I LOVE to hear some stories, but any suggestions on other things I may want to add to my "plan" would also be greatly appreciated.

Also, does anyone know if Whole Foods carries any CLO or butter oil that is worth taking? I can order online, but I want to get started as quickly as possible.

Thanks! Now back to my reading.

Staci,

Have you considered Healozone? It seems to works even on big cavities.

Mommymama - Thanks for the reply! I have been reading about that as well. I was actually planning to try to seek out a dentist that uses Healozone to see if I could call or email and ask about it. I haven't had a lot of success in finding dentists who use it, though. I know I have read about Dr. Chris on here, so that may be who I try to contact. Do you have any personal experience with it?
