Follistim and EWCM?

Does it cause more EWCM for some reason? I rarely have any that I can see without checking internally, but today I had a little gush of it. What does that mean? Am I ovulating on CD10 without even the trigger shot? I'm supposed to get a trigger shot and have an IUI after it - and Looking at my chart I was anticipating it for Monday or so. What happens if I ovulate before that?

It's the Follistim. Stims cause in increase in your e2 (estrongen level) and e2 is what causes EWCM. I wouldn't worry about ovulating before trigger based on an increase in EWCM as your only sign; it does happen but very rarely. Your docs are monitoring you while you're on stims and hopefully things will go (and grow) as planned.

Thanks! I guess the EW was a good sign though, because they want me back tomorrow am, instead of waiting until Monday.

Oh yeah, that's one way I always felt reassured that the stims were working and I knew my e2 was rising nicely.

GL!! I hope you have some bee-u-tee-ful follies growing!!
