A Couple of Development Questions (one for musicians)

1) When do children begin to draw figuratively? My dd is 3 years, 4 months and is drawing a large circle (tadpole I think it's called in child development theory) with two eyes, some scary teeth, and two lines on the bottom, which she calls horns. She also draws stick figures. I'm just kinda curious what age this normally starts.

2) Is classical music easier for children to pick up? Or are the alphabet song types easier? My dd can humm Mozart's Piano Sonato K310. Is this normal?

1) She's right at the age they start really "drawing" and not scribbling anymore.

2) I don't know, my oldest sings classic Rock :LOL :LOL

Ds's (3.5) fave song is Strauss' 'Blue Danube' waltz. But he also likes 'there's a hole in the bottom of the sea.' I think it just depends on what they hear.

OK. I don't push, but I really want Iris to pursue an artistic profession, and I tend to overreact to her "genius!" So I just wanted to put myself in check. Thanks!
