My doctor noted in my physical exam report "uncircumcised". I was thrilled. (When in fact I was TIGHTLY circumcised -- but restored).

Congratulations on looking into the process deeper. Let me tell you, it is definitely worth it! Most new restorers can see and feel a difference in as little as a few weeks. Progress cannot be called fast, but if he sticks with it, it will be fairly steady. I have found that alternating methods every few months kick starts the growth since your body may get used to the tensioning style.

Although he will probably not have the same form-fitting hug of the natural foreskin, the added skin will eventually stay forward. Partly because of the available skin to hang over, and partly because the head is not longer as dried out.

If you don't want to go with one of the devices, some other simple options are Tape and o-rings. There are plenty of good sites on the net to learn about them.

Try:

With practice, almost any of the methods can be adjusted in seconds to allow him to urinate. Most methods can also be reapplied in under 2 minutes. The only drawback is that he probably will want to choose not to use open urinals.

I hope this helps.

Tape is never involved if someone has enough slack to use a tapeless device and the device is properly fitted.

TLC devices carry a 3-month no-questions-asked refund policy.

Well, since this thread keeps getting bumped up, I'll post an update of sorts.
Dh started taping after we were looking through all the links from this thread and the results were amazing. After literally two days of taping for several hours at a time he saw a noticable increase in sensation and it keeps getting better. This has caused him to become very enthusiastic about restoring.

He is now exploring t-taping and has sacrificed a pair of ds2's suspenders to the cause. He is even coming up with his own ideas on methods of tugging. We still plan to get the TLC-X with our tax return, but the tax guy's secretary broke her hip and things are moving slow at his office, so it may take longer than we thought.

I think dh saw so much improvement so fast because he's been losing sensation for quite some time now. He's been complaining about it for the last couple of years, but it only recently got to the point where it's interfering with function. I think he had gotten used to a much lower level of feelings and that's why he's seeing such an improvement in such a short amount of time. TMI but we've gotten lucky more in the last week than in the month before.

Life is good.
