Subbing! I'm so excited to be back.

Although after re-watching the season finale, and watching the new episode, it really seemed to provide us with little to no new info! I'm one of those who watches for the fun of it, and doesn't always need to figure it all out, but still, it seemed like they could have given us a little more after waiting MONTHS!

Hi Lost-ies! I want to join yea I am so excited for Lost!!! ... there doesn't seem to be anybody left irl that watches with me anymore

so Charlie why didn't he swim out the hole? i was wondering that and am thinking maybe he did?

Kate seemed so offended at the idea that she would have gone to the funeral of the mysterious coffin person, she must have really hated them...

Jack was so clean cut in Hurley's flash forward ... is it a separate possible future... or the same one just in a different period?

oh so many questions!

I think Charlie knew he HAD to die, thats what Desmond said. He was meant to die.

That was the future, but BEFORE the Jack/Kate flash forward time. Remember Jack said he was thinking about growing a beard, and he was just drinking a little bit, compared to later when he had a beard and was a drunk.

My friends are thinking they WILL get back to the island, probably the last season.

Althooooooooooooooooough, I really hope we dont have to wait until the last season to see who was in that coffin!!!

Hello, I have lurked on past Lost threads, but thought I'd say hello! I agree I did not think they gave us much for being the first show back. But all in all I am just glad to have it back and thought it was a pretty good episode.

I thought just a different time period, after getting off the island, but before where we saw him at the end of last season. Though my only real clue was that he told Hurley he was going to grow a beard.

I think the scenes with Jack with the beard/obsessed with returning were the future, those with Hurley/Jack cleanshaven were the present, the island scenes were the past--all relatively speaking, of course...

So, who are the "Oceanic Six," and when do we get to find out? Three of them are (probably, who knows really?) Jack, Kate, and Hurley, but who are the rest? And only six?

We watched the previous three seasons on DVD, so having to wait each week for new episodes is not going to be easy.

Have we ever found out what happened to Walt and his dad? And the dog? I can't remember....

subbing!

I agree; I was bummed out about the lack of new info. If anything, the little info last night gave just left me with MORE questions...for instance...if they seperated into 2 seperate groups (1 w/ Locke, 1 w/ Jack), why are 3 of the "Oceanic Six" people from both groups?

I thought they somehow got off the island? I really don't remember, I was thinking about that earlier today.

When Hurley arrives at prison, and has a vision of what looks like water in a room and a hand on glass, what was that about?
I just watched the scene of Charlie drowning on youtube, and it doesnt look like the hole is big enough for him to get out of...its just a little round window. Not only that, but he would have had to have enough air to then swim to the surface...of course anything is possible on Lost, but i'm thinking he's dead. But just because he is dead doesnt mean Hurley wasnt talking to him for real....this is the crazy Lost universe.

Yeah, I heard right at the end of the 8 episodes they have filmed.

Hurley's vision is of the room behind the glass/mirror at the police dept filling with water and the hand is presumably Charlie's hand. It had writing on it- "They need help" or something along those lines. Kind of like "Not Penny's boat" from the end of season 3.
