I read that maybe it was that woman who did the tape loop that helped Naomi escape, and she took the knife out, made a fake trail for Jack to follow, and didn't realize that Kate would also be going after Naomi. There was more to the explanation I read, but I can't remember it all! Something about her wanting to keep Naomi separate from the phone, because she didn't want the people from the ship to find them.

I thought Danielle (the crazy French lady) was with Jack and Ben when they were trailing her. They followed the false trail and Kate followed the real one. I think the fact that she could think to lay a false trail speaks volumes of her true intentions. Clearly she has more training than she was letting on.

I think it is Michael in the coffin mostly because he was from New York and I'm pretty sure after killing Libby and Anna Lucia no one would want to be friends with him.

O.K. on the Charlie being alive thing...didn't he tell Hurley that he 'was' dead when he "visited" him at the sanitarium? Wish it wasn't true but seems to follow with the visions others had on the island of dead people giving them guidance.

You can take the person off the island but you can't take the island outa the person.

I don't know why Locke would want Ben in his group because Ben shot him and left him for dead just a day or so earlier! It's interesting how events on this island form alliances between the most unlikely people.

yay lost!

I was just able to watch it yesterday
I have to watch it on the internet (no television) and it totally sucks waiting for it. I think its put up a day after it airs

Anyway.. I think the ''he" Kate is referring to in the flash forward with Jack is Aaron. I think Claire never makes it off the island and Kate takes Aaron.

Oooh, interesting theory. But isn't there a chance that Kate is pregnant? Maybe it's her own son she is talking about.

locke probably wouldn't want ben around, but ben did NOT want to leave the island. that's why he went with locke.

for some reason at the end of last season we were convinced that it was sawyer's funeral, but now i have no idea why!

I dont think its Michael in the casket...it wouldnt make sense why Kate would be insistent that she would not want to go to the funeral, and there wasnt anyone else there right? I think most people would be able to understand Michael's actions on the island...if they had *my* kid, i'd be tempted to do *whatever* it took to rescue him. At that point, i think his actions were pretty reasonable (dont forget, the one woman he shot...Ana?....had already shot the blond girl....so lots of people were killing other people...ya gotta do what ya gotta do...and i dont see Kate holding a grudge for him)...but i could totally see her wondering why Jack would go to *Ben's* funeral, and it would make sense why no one else was there, as he didnt have any family left.

When Kate said "i have to get back to him" (i think thats what she said?? Its been awhile) i assumed she meant a husband. Jack had said something like "I saw the announcement in the paper" i assumed it was a wedding or engagement announcement...but now y'all have me thinking it was a birth or adoption announcement. Hmmmmm.

What i find interesting is that Jack went from NOT wanting to go back to the island (in his conversation w/ hurley), to being super obsessive about wanting to go back (in the scenes where he has a beard)....why is that? What changed? Only time will tell i guess.

And why is Kate not in prison? Was she pardoned for killing her stepdad? Did they think that being on the island was punishment enough?

When Jack asked Hurley "are you going to tell??" what did he mean? Tell what? I wonder if there was a situation in which Jack could choose which six people got to leave the island? And that the only condition of them leaving would be that they could never tell that there were more people on the island? Maybe Claire begged them to take Aaron?

Ahhhhh so many questions. This is why i have a love/hate relationship with this show!

Just popping in here, I LOVE Lost!

As far as the funeral, I don't think it was a member of the "Oceanic 6". I am sure Oceanic 6 is a title the media gave them when they returned and remember Jack was recognized when trying to fill his prescription, he was called a "hero" by more than one person? I'm sure there was a lot of media hype so if one of them died I am sure the media would have been all over it. If Ben, Desmond, Juliet, Danielle, Alex or anyone else that was on the island but not on the plane returned they would not be part of the Oceanic 6 because they weren't on the plane. I'd be more inclined to lean toward Ben in the casket or someone else we aren't familiar with yet.
