Hi ladies! I've been lurking for a couple of months now. I figured it was time to join you! I don't know exactly how long we've been avoiding. Officially for 3 months, but unofficially for quite a while before that. My youngest is 32 months old. I've had 3 early miscarriages. Two in '06, and one in '07. I didn't want to get pg any of the those times, but dh wasn't on board with TTA at all, it's kinda complicated. I was finally able to talk DH into avoiding until I get some health issues resolved.
So far I'm only half-heartedly writing things down. Just avoiding any fertile patches like the plague.

I'm a little confused on method. I have TCOYF which I started reading. I also have Honoring Our Cycles (it's a companion to Nourishing Traditions.) My SIL uses the Creighton method. She said that her instructor told her the only sign you need to observe is cervical fluid. That cervical position and temp are just too inaccurate. I tried temping for a month, but I never get up at the same time or sleep for a solid stretch. DD still nurses a lot at night. When she told me it wasn't necessary, I quit trying to make it work.
So, I guess the question is: does anyone use the Creighton Method? Or do you all want to talk me into temping again? Also, how many of you took classes? Do you think it was really helpful for you? I think I can read my fertility really well and since I have NO desire to get pg, I'm super conservative and careful. I just didn't know if I should take a class....
AF should be here between the 8th and the 10th. I'm resolving here and now to start writing things down! Keep me accountable ok?
Anyway, sorry to ramble on, it's nice to join all of you!
