Why some natural latex mattress so $$$?

Hi,
I'm looking for a natural bed. There is a local online store where they sell natural organic latex mattresses for 1500 CAD (for King). http://www.organicocanada.com/organic_mattressses.htm

But I see other brands that cost up to 3000 USD. Is this price worth it? What's the difference? Can I trust this cheaper version?
Pls let me know where to buy a good one for a good price.

I don't know if I can answer your question, but we do have an organic mattress. DH & I actually argued over it b/c I thought it was a ridiculous amount to pay. But, now that we have it, I'm pretty happy about it. I can't say that it's the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, but I have no complaints. We co-sleep so it does give me peace of mind to know that DD is not breathing in all those dangerous toxins every night. We bought ours from here. I don't know that we got the best deal, but they have a showroom near us and I really needed to see in person whatever we were going to be spending so much money on.
