My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I'm curious too....lately, when I eat sauerkraut or other fermented veggies, I get pretty stinky.
: From what I've been hearing, at WAPF meetings & my ND, if the gut isn't healthy, we can't tolerate fermented foods. SOmehow, we need to heal our guts *first*. I've always thought that fermented foods were key to healing the gut, but now I'm feeling otherwise. I think bone broths are really key. Even probiotics, from my latest inquiries, won't help if the gut isn't in good enough shape. It's pretty confusing, but one thing I know for sure, fermented foods aren't sitting well in my belly right now.

I dunno. But recently when I restarted my kefir, after drinking just from 2 batches, I detoxed pretty hard! Weird, but I got a deep almost cystice pimple on the underside of my elbow, and one in my opposite arm in my armpit! I guess I need to drink it more often! I hadn't been brewing kefir for about 3 months. Although I ate other good things. It's been a few days and they are gone away now, but I am glad to get out whatever was in need of detoxing.
I think mineral consumption through foods that make them easily digestable are key as well. But I think the fermented foods can help set up a good environment for healing.
I think it is probably different for everyone- the time it takes. But uh, sauerkraut-just a little throws me over the edge lately. It doesn't take more than like a 1/4 cup. It must be the pregnancy

Aren't we supposed to start small, like a teaspoon at a time until we work up to a "tolerance" for more? I remember being at the beach with my TF foodie friend & I served myself a massive gob of kraut - probably 1/3 cup or so & she said, "If that's how much kraut you eat, no wonder you're gassy!!"
