Kinda gross and TMI but it was a little strange to see this. I went pee and noticed it literally hanging out of me. It almost looked like CM at your most fertile time and was a little yellow. My husband and I dtd last night, but i thought i cleaned up enough. And it really did have a kind of stretchy consistency. Sorry this is so nasty but if anyone has an idea about it I'd love to know. I have been fighting BV, but otherwise I'm healthy, no spotting or "bad" symptoms.

Could be leftover semen and your mucus. The mucus plug is always renewing itself- not like it stays there for 9 mos. the same mucus. Like amniotic fluid always renewing.
The semen kind of sticks together in a blob and then liquifies and releases the sperm. You can't "clean" it out by just washing the vulva.
You could try herbal suppositories for BV

I'm not a birth professional, just stumbled upon this...but I get discharge like this pretty much all pregnancy, or at least from late first trimester onward. I mentioned it to my doc during my first pregnancy and she wasn't concerned. To my knowledge, I have no infections etc, it's just what happens with me when I'm preggo!

i had all kinds of CM all through pregnancy. things just got really, for lack of a better word, juicy.
i don't think it's anythign to worry about. i would think i t could be leftover semen also withthe consistancy you're describing.

I'm the one from the other thread who has been battling bv also. I've had the exact type of discharge myself, just as you described.
