Daily check-in! Feb 3rd - Page 3

Hooray for you, Binah! I am going to go read your thread in a minute.

I left church early today because the ctx were so painful but it turned out I just really needed to pee. Up all night with contractions, slowly losing mucous plug. I am in a crappy mood today because DH is in there peacefully napping while I am up with the kids. He sleeps through everything. I am the one who was awake all night. And later he is going to be watching the Super Bowl so guess who will be the entertainer of the evening to keep the girls away?

I wish the baby would be born in the middle of the game, just out of spite.

"I've been having nightly anxiety attacks/crying fits; we all knew this would happen after the move, when the stress of everything I've gone through in the past 10 months would basically disappear. I think I'm just now starting to grieve for losing Chloe, and the addition of the hormones certainly isn't making anything better. I have an appointment with my new psych coming up, so hopefully this is something that we can start to rein in a little bit before baby comes."

Hugs Mama.

And congrats again, Binah!

I'm still happily pregnant, felt some easy contractions early this morning, which I like. Just easy & comfortable. My previous two labors were super speedy (2 hours, and a bit less than 3 hours) so I'm wondering if this one will be fast too, or if it might be a bit calmer and slower and hopefully easier!

I've got some swaps I need to get out of the way so I don't have that shopping & shipping hanging over my head in case the baby comes.

Other than that, the baby stuff is organized and clean. My labor and pp stuff is pretty much organized and together......

I'm looking forward to dh being done with work so I don't have to worry about him being out of town. Though I'd be fine with a solo birth (#2 was) I know he really doesn't want to miss the baby's arrival.

Been having contractions on and off for the last 3.5 hours...only a few really strong...

I have also had a lot of low cramping and mucus and have been really nesty...I just put up a pot of stock and have cleaned my kitchen twice today...

who knows...maybe we will meet our baby girl soon

Slept well last night with only one potty break! I had a pregnancy massage yesterday from my midwife (lucky me) and she showed my a better sleeping position for these last few weeks. Seems to have worked...whoo hoo!

We cleaned house today. Now I'm making the obligatory vat of chili that is required on SuperBowl Sunday! And maybe some chocolate chip cookies too...yum! Sounds like indigestion for me tonight!

I feel nowhere near labor today. Just getting kicks and breezing along.

Congrats Binah!!!!!

39w5d. DD is getting over her cold (yay) but now I'm getting it (boo). Feel like I've been hit by a smallish truck. I'm having a lot of weird leg pain on one side and am realizing how lucky I've been to avoid muscle and joint pain for most of this PG.

Came home today from a long social outing we probably shouldn't have gone on, tried to crash, and burst into tears when DD wouldn't nap and woke me up 5687678967 times. She apologized abjectly, poor thing. Mommy is a bit irrational these days.

I don't feel very labor-ish. At least I'm done with work. Trying to decide whether to send DD to school tomorrow or not; there were two cases of confirmed influenza there last week, but the second sick kid left Monday and we don't know of any more cases. Still, probably not worth it--although I was REALLY looking forward to a few days at home to rest before the baby comes. (DD's daycare is paid through the 15th.)

For the love of all that you hold dear, please attempt to describe this position.:

exactly our menu tonight i think i ate about 10 cookies... just hoping labor is at least a day off - i'm sure it is! - because chili probably wouldn't be the best thing to have revisit me.. ha

Okay, who else can't sleep??

I'm not having contractions or anything--just feel really agitated and awake, after being exhausted all day. It's like I drank a double espresso. WTH???

I'm up! Superbowl revelers howling outside my window, sick hubby down the hall, big day at work tomorrow, house is huge mess, and I am wide awake. wheeeee.
I know I am whining, but the situation is so pitiful that it is actually kindof funny. I'm sitting at the computer actually giggling.

Me!! I just can't get myself to go to bed! I'm kind of tired but I'm wired too! It's rather annoying. I'm going to try to get to bed in 15 min. I'm having a cup of tea and hopefully it will slow me down.
