Dehydrated honey

Has anyone ever seen, used or made dehydrated honey? I found an interesting new thing on the internet- dried honey discs, about the size of a quarter. They say it makes it more portable, which would be great for me because I generally carry some with me and it IS messy! I was also thinking that for baking, dehydrated and then ground in the food processor would make it much easier to use. Any thoughts?

Never heard of it! I would be concerned with what you lost in the process, but it's an interesting thing to think about nonetheless.

I think I'm going to try to dehydrate some on my own and see what happens. If nothing else, it'll make a good science experiment to put in the kids homeschool portfolio!

There is such a thing as honey dust: (discovered it by way of a wedding gift sample pack of Kama sutra stuff) so it is out there.
it is shaved dehydrated honey. makes a fine powder.
