Cross Curricular Unit Studies?

Does anyone know if there is a such thing as comprehensive unit studies that include math and LA? I have seem AOP Weaver but I want something that requires less preparation on my part.

I have four kids and I am looking for something that I can use long term with all 4. I appreciate any ideas/input/suggestion!

I don't know if there are any that combine LA and math, but I know that you can use Math on the Level with any unit studies to add math to them.

Moving beyond the page does that. At least to a degree. We suppliment with math anyway because ds really loves math and is ahead of the math presented in the unit study.

I use the 5-7 curriculm. It might be different at other levels.

Edited to add: I looked it up, and it says on the website that it is included into the curriculm until the 7-9 level. At that point, it is recommended to have a seperate math curriculm.

i know galloping the globe incorporates language arts, as well as other unit studies i've seen.....including many of the free ones posted at homeschoolshare.com. with younger children, you could come up with some math easily to go along with a unit - but why not just use a curriculum separate for those? it's still super easy. are you trying to find a math and language arts that you can use with all of your kids? i guess that would make things easier actually. if it's the cost....purchasing something for each child....i bet we could all recommend good curriculum for those subjects that are either free or vey cheap!

i wish i could be of more help to you. good luck mama!!!

I was going to suggest this, too!
