blisters?

I just got this on my local API group, any ideas I can pass on?

Quote:
My little boy is 3 1/2 and his foreskin has retracted completely in
the last few months. The other day he said his "peanut" hurt and when
I looked at it, he had blisters on the head of it. We bathed
immediately to make sure that there wasn't any urine irritating it,
and I looked again later in the day...the blisters were starting to
dry up. After a few days they fell off just like a blister on your
foot would do. He doesn't say it hurts anymore and there aren't any
new blisters. I have no idea what this was all about...anyone have
thoughts for me? He is my only son and my husband is circumcised so
he didn't have any clue either. Is this something that he
should/should've seen the doctor for?

this is what I said so far:

I'll ask my experts (mostly the CAC forum at MDC, and a few other places), but I'm pretty sure that if it's not causing him any problems now, it's fine. You can also call Marilyn Milo, the founder of National Organization of Circumcision Information Resource Centers (www.nocirc.org) and ask her. Seriously. I just talked to her the other day, and she will talk to anyone. She is an RN and has a lot of information. Be prepared to set aside 20 minutes or so though. She can talk!

Can you give here the information found here: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=764732 (feel free to copy and paste the whole thing) Not only for her to see but others as well.

It sounds like yeast a bit to me.

I think having her to talk to Marilyn is a great idea.

And make sure she isnt washing his glans with soap. That could cause major problems.
