okay - a toddler/child craft question...???

You know bubble painting...is that the right word for it?
Basically I want to know how its made...but you have straws and there is soap in the paint and you blow it into bubbles and then put the paper on the bubbles which then pops the bubbles and creates cool bubble prints onto the paper!

Because I think I did it wrong... The colours did not come out very bright and were almost not even there when popped onto the paper! lol

So how do you make it? lol

I remember seeing this recently on Martha Stewart's craft show. She was making wrapping paper with a child.

Here's the link for the technique: http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/...g&rsc=header_1

I've had that problem too.

When we were kids we used to do this and we used powdered paint. I think you can then mix it up to a stronger colour than diluting the ready mixed type of paint.

Yep. Check out your local scrap store, if you have one; the Wiltshire, Swindon and Oxford ones all have some really good quality powder paints in at the moment.
