Show me your craft spaces...

I'm in need of inspiration. I love looking at other peoples craft spaces and I'm reorganizing some things to work better for me. Anyone care to show pictures of where you create all your amazing crafts? I'll post some of mine when I get it done.

Okay, I think I found more than a few pictures of craft spaces on flikr.

Anyone else interested in them it's here

My crafting areas are on my flickr page, username knitsteel, but they are hopelessly cluttered. There is plenty of inspiration, but not for organization.

Alright, so where is that drooling smiley. I need it. Stat.

Ah yes, there we go.

My "craft room" has been the "dump everything miscellaneous here" room since we moved in. It's not pretty. It's not even remotely functional. It's also a music room, and a computer parts storage room. And of course all the misc stuff. I have ideas, but it's going to take some work for sure. I need more inspiration! Any more pics out there?

Ooops! Apparently this link from flikr has even more craft spaces...

There's 3109 pictures worth in the link above

I originally posted a sublink.

Is this enough for ya (for now anyway)?

first post ever!

(Sorry no pics but thoughts on)

this is exactly what i am in the middle of right now...organizing the ...etc...room. I have been trying to find bins, baskets, shelving units for free or at thirft stores lately but i have not had much luck. Thanks for the link to the pics. That does give me a little more hope that one day my messy room will look more orderly.

however many times i clean it the next day it is a mess again. I also seem to do my best inventions when it is the messiest...i think that chaos might be my true inspiration. Any one else agree?

Do you think any of the super organized flickr pics have children in their spaces? I can't keep my little girl out of all the fabric and ribbon. She loves it so I can't stop her. I am trying to make room on the higher shelves for stuff but i am only 5ft so i can't put everything out of reach or it all wouldn't be quick access. Any have ideas on help with this?

Sorry. this is my first post...i got excited.

I think *some* amount of chaos can be inspiring,*too much* clutter can be paralyzing. And if it takes you more than 15 minutes finding what you need, it really is going to slow you down actually completing projects. Try the kindergarten method of organization (from the book Organizing From The Inside Out). It may help at least to group like items with like, even if they are all tossed into pretty baskets or bins (when you find ones you like).

I finally have cleaned up my modest craft spaces.

I totally want one like Heather Bailey of HELLOmynameisHeather.

I might like a slightly different colour scheme (baby pink is not so much my thing!) but I lurve this. Soooo much.
I wish I had room for a craft room.

Someday, maybe.

I also like Martha Stewart's attic craft room. If only I had the resources to convert our attic. lol

A girl can dream, right?!?
