Thanks so much mamas! We're doing well. Kai is feeding like a pro, although sometimes it's a little painful. We'll be going to the Lactation specialist this afternoon to check & see if there's anything more I can do. My incision is weeping a bit, but I think it's normal. We'll get check for that too, just in case.

Long birth story short- (keep in mind that I'm still having slow brain)
Started by ripening with cervadil then moved to prostaglandin gel. The cervix was effacing but not dilating. After spending several hours with INTENSE contractions coming every 2-5 minutes & still no dilation I received Fentanyl for pain & the doctor came in (my care was being co-managed by doc & MW) & forced my cervix open. It immediately dilated to 4cm. Many hours later I received an epidural after again having intense contractions coming very close together. finally I was fully dilated & tried to push but his head was very swollen after hours of hitting my closed cervix & my hemorrhoids were so swollen & painful that I couldn't even feel my contractions, all I felt was the pain in my butt. The Doc & MW's were also concerned that his shoulders may be too wide & that if his head were to make it out he might not be able to get his shoulders out. In the end after 72 LONG PAINFUL hours of labor we ended up having a cesarean. While in surgery my BP dropped really low & I almost passed out & got very nauseated but made it through the whole thing whith just a lot of sleep deprivation & an incredible baby boy. I'm soooo in love with him
