Looks like EWCM-TMI

Well, right now I've been experiencing a bit of muscusy-ness. I don't believe it's plug, it doesn't strike me as a plug, but it's sure different than usual. It looks essentially like EWCM you find at the height of ovulation, and I wondered, are any of you (or have any of you) have/had this too? It's not mass quantities, just looks like I would if I were ovulating. Kind of funny...

The juiciness of late pregnancy is lovely isn't it!?!

In the past couple of days I have noticed some extra discharge, where it's making my underwear a bit damp, kinda like it would when I would "think" I was ovulating. You are not alone

ahh well good! I'm not ready for the plug yet! Glad to know. There are a million threads on mucus plugs, but I guess I just had to have my own mucusy thread! I wonder if it will amp up when we go see my new nephew tonight? heh!

This is exactly what's happening in my world. Nothing too globby and nothing with any colorful tinge yet but A LOT of mucous that reminds me of ovulation time....

I'm juicier, too.

My midwife said that I will KNOW when I lose my mucous plug, so I figure it's still in there . I'm wondering if I should wear some pantiliners or something just in case? I don't want to walk around with a mucous plug in my undies.

I never lost an actual "mucus plug" with DS. Neither before nor during labor or birth. Nor did I ever have "bloody show." I think it just dissolved slowly over time. I got this slow increase in secretions, like what you are describing. Maybe it is just a variation on "mucus plug."

Yup, globs of yuck here too. I just got another package of underpants so I can change a lot. It's bad enough that it could soak through to my jeans, and I'm down to two pairs that are comfy enough for me to sit and work in. Panty liners just make me sweaty, so I'm hoping to hold off on those for a bit.

I swear I have been the mucus queen this pregnancy. I wish I had this good of EWCM when we were TTC, it would have been much more obvious when I was going to O. I sewed/serged together a few layers of scrap fabric (old t-shirts and flannel scraps) to make panty liners out of because I was tried of having to change my underwear 2-3 times a day, plus having to spray down the crotch of my pants with Febreeze every night. Ah, the joys of pregnancy, lol!

When I was in labor with dd I never lost my mucus plug in one big piece. It was more like very, very heavy and constant discharge the whole time. Quiet lovely, really (and I mean that in the most sarcastic way possible.)

I'm having that too- just like ovulation but more!

When I lost my plug with ds1 I sat down on the toilet to go pee and all of sudden it literally plopped out. You will definately know when it happens unless its very gradual.
