This is our third pregnancy, but the first one we've gotten this far with. Took me a couple of weeks to be sure it was Baby I was feeling. But now, there's no doubt. I've only noticed him/her a couple of times when I wasn't concentrating/thinking about it, but if I lay down and press down slightly in the general vicinity of Junior, I'm well rewarded.

I have been feeling significant movement for about 2 weeks. Some days are quieter than others. DH has been able to feel the little bumps for about a week, which really surprised me. I can actually see the movements too which is cool.

18 weeks.

I'm feeling it sometimes, for a while there it was pretty often but it has slowed down a bit now. I seem to notice it most when I'm laying in bed relaxing with my hypnobabies cd.

DH can't feel anything yet, but he keeps trying! Last time he felt it around 20 weeks so he seems to think this one will be the same, we'll see

I started feeling movements around the 15th week but 16 I was feeling kicks for sure. They say the smaller you are that you feel more and I was around 128ish before so I am sure that has alot to do with it.

Not me. I'm 17 weeks and have felt nothing.

I've had lots of flutters and things that I *suspect* were the baby for several weeks, but it's only been the last week and a half or so that the movement has been regular and obviously baby. I've been soooo releived to finally be sure that it's the baby moving around in there.

I was nervous because I don't remember how far along I was when I started feeling DD#1, but I know it was well before the 20week US and with DD#2 I'm positive I started feeling her around 14 weeks. So hitting 17 weeks with no positive movement was starting to stress me out pretty bad. But now that we're moving in there, I feel much better.

FWIW, I pretty much only feel it when I'm lying down or snuggled down on the couch. Even sitting here at the computer, I don't really feel anything. Drinking a COLD glass of water or juice seems to make the baby a little more active too.

I have been feeling flutters and I can feel rolling sensations and stretching sensations also. No actual kicks yet - I'll be 19 weeks on Thursday.

I'm feeling lots of flutters and kicks. I started feeling this one late, around 17 weeks, compared to 14-15 weeks with my other pregnancies. After a miscarriage last year, I was a little concerned about no movement. It is so resassuring to feel those sweet little kicks!

I watched Mary Poppins with my little ones today. Evidently the new babe likes the music, because he/she was quite active the entire movie!

I'll be 17 weeks on friday and I haven't felt anything either. I'm not worried because I have never felt anything before 20 weeks with my pregnancies.

I'm not sure... I'm 15 weeks, and for a little over a week I've been having little sharp pains in the right area (closer to pubic bone than navel, towards the front, usually but not always right of center) once in awhile--like, it'll happen 2 or 3 times in a minute, and then nothing again for hours or even a day or two. But you all describe flutters--I don't think I've felt that--I've had a couple little funny feelings in the past couple days that could be it, but I wouldn't describe them confidently as "flutters". BUT, could these pains I'm describing be movement?? Sometimes it's just a little twinge, and sometimes it actually makes me wince a bit--but it doesn't feel at all like any gas pains I've ever had, or really any other pains that I can think of.

Sure am. Lots of kicking and stretching feelings.

I felt a tiny flutter at 12 weeks because I happened to just be in the right position. Then there was nothing until 15 weeks when one day I just started feeling kicks...and since then I'm getting serious pokes and bumps and kicks every day (I'm just about 18 wks).

However, I'm very thin and this is my second.

Someone told me once that kicks start getting stronger (so you can feel them) around the time baby's cartilage starts hardening into bone. Does anyone know if that's true? Also, if it is, is there any variation in when that happens - could that account for some people feeling movement at different times too??

I felt movement for the first definite time yesterday. The baby had the hiccups off and on for 2 hours straight. It was really annoying. lol. I'm 15.5 weeks and I had no idea it was possible to feel hiccups this early, but that's definitely what it was. I remember it from my previous pregnancies.

Yep, the fluttery feelings are getting stronger and stronger now!

I'm wondering what the baby is doing when I get the fluttery-vibration feelings?

Last night, at 17 weeks exactly, I felt the first true kicks. I was just settling into bed to relax with a cup of tea. Something about the tea seemed to trigger a bit more activity. If I put my hand there I could even feel the little "bump bumps." There's nothing quite like it!

Remind me of that when I'm doubled over with kicks later!

I think I've felt something before but it was so quick I couldn't be sure.
But not tonight, tonight I'm sure.
Sometimes I feel a kick and sometimes it's a rolling feeling.
My sister could even feel it, which was pretty cool, she was very excited.
Unfortunatly hubby couldn't feel it, soon though I hope.

It's pretty awesome to feel it moving inside me, I was a little nervous I would be creeped out by it, but no, it's really cool.
