toddlers and V-day ..... help me be creative

I want to make -- with my 2 year old -- soemthing for the grandparents and his daddy -- card like ..... to post at the office or mail

I do not have to give him free reign .... I am ok with momma doing it

We make hand-print decorations out of clay for Christams.

I am thinking ... foot print in paint for him and his little brother and cutting them out and glueing them on big ol red hearts and writting the date adn their ages ..... but that is kinda zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and it is also what he and i did that last 2 years

any new ideas....... ???

How about letting him decorate a picture frame with stickers or paint? Then you put in a picture of him.

You can get inexpensive frames at the craft store or make just the frame itself out of sticks or cardboard.

The daycare did this withour kids when they were younger. They also glued magnets on the back, so the framed picture was actually a magnet.
I thought it was a very sweet idea.
