Restoring...

I'm a new member here, a 23 y/o male. Like many other guys, I was circumcised as a wee baby minutes after exiting my mother's womb. I still have my frenum intact, though. My friend, who is also 'cut,' has been restoring for seven months now---and just told me this week. I decided to try it out, too, so I went onto TLCTugger.com and ordered my foreskin restoration kit. I just got an email from them saying it'll get to me in four days! I'm quite excited, I must say. They showed pictures/videos on the restoring skin, and, woa, it looks different! One question I have however is it says you have to pull all of your shaft skin over your penis head. OK I CAN do this, but in order to I sorta have to push down my penis head and stuff all my shaft skin over it. Then you place the cap over it and the weight thing to keep it in place.

Is this suppose to be how it's done, or am I suppose to have enough shaft skin left to pull it over the head easily? My scar is about two inches down from my glans from where my skin was cut off. And there's no shaft skin movable when I'm 'hard.' Maybe a LITTLE but not enough to reach the glans.

Anyway, I do have a girlfriend and I told her about it. She isn't sure what to think. She DOES like my circumcised penis, so she is a little skeptical---but supportive.

Anyway, just thought I'd share! Thanks for reading!

I suggest going to FRCChat forum and reviewing and asking there. It is a supportive and knowledgeable community. Here is the link:

I use t-tape strips, and am not familiar with the details of using the TLC Tugger, but many there are.

I can't answer your question but I wanted to you to the board!

My DH started using the TLC tugger a few months ago (amazing results btw). I know he had to push down on the glans with the device to get the skin around it, so I think you'll be okay. My DH also does manual stretching - he thinks that the manual stretching is helping just as much as the device. It has been a VERY noticeable change in the last couple months.

Your experience is fairly common especially for men with tight circumcisions just starting restoration. Gregb's recomended site is great and restoration is its primary focus where as this boards primary focus is circumcision. Not that this board doesnt support restoration, its just that you will find information and answers much faster at a restoration board. Congratulations on your new journey, its well worth it!

Your description sounds just like what my dh does to get the skin over the glans. He has to kind of stuff the head in and pull the skin forward. He's tried taping it this way and says that it's not uncomfortable, it just looks odd. He has also decided to get a TLC tugger when we get our tax return. I hope it works as well as people say.

As for your girlfriend, try including her in your research. For us, reading this stuff together was kind of intimate. It provoked discussions on things we'd never really talked about before and gave me a better understanding of his feelings about this issue and related ones. The emotions involved can be complex and difficult to unravel. She'll probably understand better as she learns more. Check out the Sex as Naure Intended website (I don't have the actual address offhand, but you can google it). That one really triggered some intense talks for us.
