My sons diaper covers rub red marks on his legs when he walks. I think it is the edges of the velcro on his diaper covers. I have rounded off the edges and zigzagged the edges to smooth them off. Other than that, the covers seems to fit well and work well. I sew very well, and I was wondering if there are any ideas as to how to change the fasteners? Could I rip out the velcro and add snaps or some other fastener? Since the rest of the cover is already sewn, I would be afraid that the wrong side of the snaps would scratch up against his skin on the inside of his diaper. Should I just make some covers of my own and use a different type of fastener?
