Oh joy TMI alert

Well I am going to have to get DH to call the OB's office tomorrow and see if they can give me a blood draw request. I may even just walk into labour and delivery so I can see an OB. My hemmeroids are bleeding so bad that it sounds like I am peeing when I sit on the toilet. every time, I am not plugged or anything it's just one of them burst and seems to not be healing it's been 3 days now. I know that they can't do anything for them, but I am starting to worry about anemia. It's hard to say if my complete exhaustion is because of this cold or low iron. It's not a good thing having to wear a pad. My Platlets at last check were just below normal.

I'm sorry hon! That has got to be so painful and frustrating. I hope they can give you some answers and relief.

That sounds terrible!! I'm sorry- they must be incredibly painful as well. Surely there's something they can do in extreme situations. I'm impressed that you didn't even mention them hurting. Hang in there!

I am so, so sorry. That sounds really dreadful, and I hope that there is something someone can do to make you feel better.

Not in your ddc but wanted to say I hope you get relief. I have issues after giving birth, but thankfully not as extreme as your situation... YET.

They can lance them for you. That would help. I'd go in to L and D.

Yikes, that's bad! I had some pretty awful hemmorhoids after my 2nd birth, and they were definitely bleeding and extremely painful - but they never bled as much as you describe! You must be absolutely miserable! I really hope you can get it all fixed quickly. I can honestly say that bad hemmorhoids are my biggest fear for birth #3.

I went in today and had them take blood. I am slightly anemic and my platlets are getting a little bit lower. I have an rx for iron, but I have to be careful b/c constipation would be bad. 4 more weeks or less at this point. I can do this LOL. At least they don't hurt. and for now the bleeding has stopped.

go to a health food store and get Floradix to increase your iron. It will not cause constipation. It's expensive though.
I second the Floradix suggestion. Waaaaay better than any pill-type iron supplement amd I would think the extra expense is worth not risking getting constipated... at least it would be for me I'm glad that at least they were able to stop the bleeding. yikes!
