Ugh, I think I have a gum infection, I'm gonna try garlic!

My tooth where I've had a cavity for a few years started throbbing two days ago, I think it's infected. The tooth is the one next to my upper canine, and the throbbing is in my upper face, I can feel it below my nose. I swished sage tea around in my mouth for an hour today, but I'm going to see if I can cure it with garlic...wish me luck! I just hope it helps get rid of the infection. Anyone else have this happen before to them?

When I read your post I immediately thought of Hydrogen Peroxide. I remembered reading about it while cruising through a website that I am a big fan of called EarthClinic.com

There is a lot to read but if you just do a "find" (hit control then f on your keyboard) and enter in "gums" (then hit next to find more) you will see people's testimonials about how HP helped with their gums amongst other things.

Thanks JM! When I was a teenager I got a real bad case of swimmers ear. For some reason I though of using HP to get rid of it, I dipped a q tip into the bottle and then stuck it in my ear. It cleared it up! I was impressed!

So far the garlic is helping, I'm also augmenting it with swishing salt water around in my mouth too.

It's not getting worse, seems to be improving. Took some more garlic soup today, DH hates my breath, ha ha!

Thank you for that link, very interesting info, especially about the british monopoly and manipulation of the medicine. Sounds like what is going on in this country too.
