Belly Binding - a review

it's not binding per say, but I have been using a bella band since right after the birth. Something more restrictive would make me look better, that's for sure. But I'm not sure it would make me feel any better. The bella band has been enough to not have anything "flapping about" and it has also kept my stomach warm when nursing with a shirt pulled up.

I also continue to wear the bella band, I wash and dry so it is nice and tight. It makes me feel better and help with breastfeeding in public.

after ds#1 was born i wore a girdle. it wasn't specifically a post-partum girdle it was just one that a friend gave me. i had never heard anything about belly binding i just didn't feel good in clothes without one. i wore it pretty much all the time. this time a bought a new one. i started wearing it right after ds#2 was born. i do feel better when i'm wearing it. not just better looking, but just better in general. the only problem is occasionally i get uncomfortable, like i have chest pains and feelings that are like gas build up or something. i quit wearing it after the first week because of this, but i have been feeling sort of overwhelmed and down. so last night i put it back on. we'll see how it goes. maybe i would do better with something like the ace bandages. i'm too lazy to buy any though at this point.
