anyone familiar with this credit report/repair software?

we need to run new credit reports for both DH and I (we should be able to get them free since it's been at least 2 years since we've done it), but we know there are some errors and things we want to dispute, so it seems like it'd be helpful to be able to do it all in one place and print the letters out directly from the software and all that.

anyone have experience with this software? or know of another, similarly priced software that has similar features?

TIA!!

Just write the letters yourself. They only have to be a couple of sentences, and it's free.

Just a lurker here on F&F, but thought I'd give some input...

We got free reports recently from all the bureaus because we're looking to buy a house, and the dispute process was really easy for Transunion. It was literally less than a 20 minute phone call for each of us to file our disputes/correct errors. The investigation and closing of the disputes can take up to 30 days, but ours were completed in less than two weeks. I'm not sure what the other bureaus are like, but there was no extra software necessary. Just the reports, a phone, some time, and the internet (I looked up the dispute # online)...and it was all free. You might want to look into it.

I suggest you check out creditboards.com. Free advice from very knowledgeable folks; they even have sample letters you can use that have proven results.

You can get your credit reports free 1 x per year. I just did it online and each company had a link to send them info about any errors.

I think it was freecreditreport.com or something like that.

The ONLY truly free and reputable site to get a free credit report from it:

www.annualcreditreport.com

It's a site created by the three credit bureaus themselves. You are entitled to one free credit report each year (the only thing you have to pay for is your score--which is about $3 or $4 for each bureau--but you don't need the score really).
