I don't get it!
I'm having such problems with the gussets in the LTK Hybrid Rib soaker pattern (size medium). It's my first pair of soakers and I've ripped out the gussets three times already because they just don't look right.
Questions:
Where exactly do the gussets go? The pattern says at the "bottom of the leg". Is this in the middle of the 2x1 ribbed section?
When picking up the stitches, it's hard to pick up both "loops" because they're so tight it doesn't fit on the needle right. Am I picking up the right ones? (both sides of the crocheted "braid")
Also, when I pick up the stitch at the end of the row, do I knit it before I turn to knit the other way?
So many questions! The rest of the pattern looks great, but the gussets are giving me trouble.
