No more CC debt makes me cry!

Literally. Tears of joy. This burden has finally been lifted off my shoulders. It's one of the best, most liberating feelings ever.

I have a few miscellaneous medical bills to pay, but other than that I'm debt free! I'm free, free, free!!

My story

Basically my husband was medically discharged from the military right before DS was born and our insurance was dropped by the time of the actual birth so we racked up tons of medical debt (what a long run on sentence). I used our CC card (just 1) - to attempt to pay off medical bills thinking we'd be settled into another job shortly. But that never happened. After many non payments and delinquency up the wazoo they closed my account and I started a payment plan with the CC company after talking to a debt counselor. I was able to get them to take off all the interest on the account if I agreed to pay a higher monthly amount. We've been struggling and paying on it for a year. It was about $7k. And this year's tax return helped us pay off the remaining amount! Yayayay!

Yay! That's wonderful. Its really worth celebrating an accomplishment like that so you should make sure you do. Doesn't have to be with spending money of course.. maybe have a grandparent or friend watch DS for a night and make a special dinner to recognize your achievement.

Or bake a "money cake" with green or gold frosting.. or maybe not hehe.

Congrats!
