Anyone else have this happen, this time or a previous pregnancy? I *thought* I got AF on Jan 25 th, but it was only 3 days of med-light flow. Thinking it was implantation spotting now though, because I was only 8DPO. Since Monday (about 5 weeks) I have been spotting. Just once on Monday, nothing Tues, once wed and once thurs. Not a lot of blood, but definitely red. I am not to concerned, but I like BTDT stories. My last pregnancy I had horrible contraction like cramps off and on from 3 weeks till 10 weeks. None of that so far this time.....

I had light bleeding and actually thought I was having my first pp af on Jan 9th. It only lasted a day or so and was really light but definitely some red and then pinkish. I had mild cramping just before it too. I thought maybe it was just a weird light cycle, since it was the first one, but then almost 2 weeks later I got a positive test result after I'd been having nausea. So, I'm guessing in my case that it was implantation bleeding. I've never done anything like it before.

My CM seems to have a light brown color to it. No blood or real spotting just that little bit of color. My Doula assures me that it's normal, especially since AF was due yesterday.

I had spotting 2 days after my BFP. I took another test the next day and still positive, and no spotting or anything since then. I didn't freak out because it's happened before.
I rushed to the ER with DS1 at about 9 weeks. I called the Dr to get in for an u/s at 7 weeks with DS2. I figured I should just chill out this time around.

If it helps, I've noticed women who spot easily are more prone to it in pregnancy. I for example, NEVER spot after pelvic exams, pap smears, intercourse... nothing makes me spot. My sister is the complete opposite and would spot in pregnancy after every little thing.

I had spotting in 2 out of 4 of my previous pregnancies...there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to why I had it with them and not with the others~

I had spotting with DS. Basically, I found pink-tinged mucus on toilet paper and it kept coming. I freaked out and took it easy (laid around on the couch Sat. and Sun.) while I kept finding it on and off. By Monday it stopped, and then the rest is history (great pregnancy - great kiddo). With the m/c I had full-on cramping and what felt and looked like a heavy period for 6 or 7 days followed by a normal period 30 days later. I was pregnant before the following cycle.
What you have sounds like normal spotting. Did you get your cervix checked or have sex recently? That can happen. Lots of women have spotting in 1st trimester

I spotted for the first seven weeks with my ds. I spotted for a week with this one. Spotting isn't always bad. Don't worry too much. when I say I spotted, sometimes it was bright red blood and even some clots. I was sure I was miscarrying both times. But so far, I didn't then and I haven't now.

With my first, I had light spotting for 1-2 days when I should have had my period for the first 3 months. Not enough to count as a period, but just enough to make me nervous. I never had any problems though. Some people spot, some don't. If you have strong cramping, definitely get checked. But otherwise, try not to worry too much.

I was having spotting before and after I got a BFP. I had been seeing an RE since I was on my 19th cycle of TTC No. 2. From earlier testing they knew my progesterone was low and prescribed a pill I take vaginally. Once I took that all spotting stopped. So, I contribute it to low progesterone for me. With DD, which was a wonderful accident, I wasn't as tuned to what was going on since it was a surprise but I do remember quite a bit of spotting then. I knew there was a chance I might be pg but initially was relieved when I saw my "AF". It was light and I found out it was just spotting and I was pg. Can't remember how long that lasted, I didn't take any medications that time around.
