Hi everyone! Wow, this is so strange… I haven’t posted on MDC outside the Spirituality forums for a couple of years, ever since my last loss. I used to be a regular on the TTC and Infertility threads.
In the past 4 months, so much has changed in my life, and in January, I started on the path to becoming a single mom by choice. I did the same fertility treatment protocols I’ve done in the past, and now I’m pregnant with twins! I just found out yesterday, and boy, it’s awesome and a lot to swallow.
I’m going to be moving from PA to Portland, Oregon in May, to be close to my biggest community of friends and continue to build a life by following my bliss!
I’ve had 3 first trimester losses in the past (an ectopic and 2 m/cs), but this time things look excellent. The embies are measuring ahead of schedule and I got to see their beautiful, miraculous heartbeats yesterday. I'm 6 weeks today and feeling completely optimistic about this pregnancy.
I’m looking forward to getting to know you all, and to learning from you, since I gather many of you are already mamas to several kids! WOW!

They truly are amazing and you're in for one hell of a ride. 
We don't know if this is twins yet and I must say I'm a little jealous that you know already. But since I'm quite sure I will know based on movement and measurements, I won't be having an ultrasound so I won't know for sure until around the end of April or beginning of May. I'm excited to find out though...maybe I'll be joining you in the twin boat (although spontaneously).
