Owen George was born at 4:05 am this morning after a textbook 6.5 hour labor. 8 lbs, 14 oz, born at home in the water. Not a stitch needed, even with a nuchal hand. He looks just like his sister and is a glorious wee thing.

I am high as a kite off this amazing experience. (My first was a traumatic 34-hour posterior labor with transfer, Pit, and epi--this was so completely different!)

congratualtions!!! i'm envious of your birth, and crossing my fingers for a similar experience!! can't wait to see pictures!

Congrats!!! Welcome little one! It's amazing how wonderful of a birth it was after your rough first experience! I'm so happy for you!

One of my best friends just had a boy and named him George Owen! Two great names!
