Nighttime drooling...! BTDT mamas - when does it stop?

I know I'm not the only person suffering from this...right? And I think it keeps increasing (I'm guessing bc my nose is so stuffed up all the time so I'm mouth-breathing). And, the whole cold soggy pillowcase thing, well, yuck I know there are faaaaaaaaaar worse symptoms to deal with, but I'm thinking about this one right now, & wondering - if you've had the drooly thing going on in a prior pregnancy, how long postpartum does it take for this to stop?

I have to laugh at this post!

I woke myself up TWICE last night with a super soggy pillow. I mean, the thing was saturated! It was the first time this pregnancy it got that bad. It actually was on my mind all day!

I actually didn't even think that it was pregnancy related but who knows? Maybe it is

HAHAH!

I drool at nap-time and sometimes at night. I notice my drooling seems to occur when I am uber tired and in a deep deep sleep. Now... with DS 1, deep sleep just didn't happen, he woke frequently and I turned into light sleeper, so post partum drooling wasn't an issue for me!

Hope your drooling resolves itself!

Hmmm... I always drool. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night just to flip over my pillow.

Okay to be fair, I've had the same problem, it's messed up! I'll admit too that I'm a pillow flipper too!

I'm so glad other mamas can relate...I checked back a while after I posted before anyone responded & thought, "OH - MY - GOSH, it IS just me! NOOOOOOOOO!" like a high school outcast

Monkeycheeks, It's got a certain charm, huh?

Lincap, hope you're right, though actually, for me, I can feel it starting AS I'm falling asleep...oy! Well, I'm just glad I don't do it when I'm awake (I guess the babe'll take care of doing that when awake, huh? Ha!) My worst drooling bit during this PG was falling asleep on DH's shoulder while we were watching a movie on the couch, and...well...you can figure out the rest He's such an understanding dear

I've had the same problem. I'm not sure when it resolves exactly, prolly different for everyone. But most of the physical changes of pregnancy resolve within 6-8 weeks postpartum. I'm think the drooling wouldn't take that long, though.
