A late in the game Maybe Multiple Mama?

I don't really think I'm having multiples, but I'm measuring way ahead! I think I may get a little fast forward on this pregnancy!

Just went to see my MW @ 17.5 weeks. My fundal height was 25(!!) cm. Then she was able to pick up the babes HB with the fetoscope, which she says she can never do before 20 weeks. We were planning an anatomical scan anyway, so we'll see what that says for dates.

(I still have my chart in my siggie. It's probably the most incomplete chart ever, but it offers some info. If anyone wants to give their opinion, I'd be more than glad!!! I'll tell her, well my MDC mamas all think.....)

My thoughts are that I'm at most, 2 weeks ahead, so 19 weeks. A mini-fast foward, not so much that it's shocking. I really felt like symptom-wise with fatigue, nausea, etc. I was right on track with my dates. Besides, my was so faint when I did get it, I know it wouldn't have been positive the day before.

Ugh, thought I was gonna : and know when I conceived to the minute!! Guess that's what I get for being sloppy!

You sound just like me. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks, only one baby...but then the tech piped in that there could be one hiding behind the one. I felt my first kicks at 9 weeks. At 10 weeks we found a heartbeat on fetalscope/doppler. At 14.5 weeks I was measuring at 20 weeks fundally. I swear I feel kicks in 2 places at one, but that could be because of my big baby track record. I will find out in 2 weeks. I am sure it is just one, but this is so different from my first pregnancy.

We practiced NFP before we were TTC (which lasted 17 months), so I'm very good at making up 'alternate interpretations' of charts. I took a little peek at yours... so just for fun:

Your mucus pattern is irregular, but it does look like you had some good cm in conjunction with your positive OPK, so FFs interpretation looks pretty good. But FF loooooooves OPKs, even though they weren't necessarily that reliable for me. Also, OPKs can test positive during pregnancy, so there's a chance that was your first bfp. If you look at just the temps and none of the cross check signs, you could make a case for your o date being cd25, and going triphasic around cd41. Looking at just cm, your fertile period started as early as cd15, so that would support an earlier o date analysis even though you didn't have any fertile cm around cd25.

Further supporting these wild guesses is that it can take a few weeks to get a bfp. My hcg was 95 on 12dpo, and I didn't get a bfp until I was nearly 6 weeks along. I guess I just don't 'process' the hcg that fast.

So there are some theories... hope that helps!

I had one prenatal where I measured really far ahead in another pregnancy, but it was just one baby. I'm wondering if it's pretty common to measure ahead once or twice. Just depending upon the position of the baby. I'm measuring a consistant 7 cm ahead but there have been times where I'm 12 ahead.

Waiting until the next appt will probably give you some more information. Of course, you may be planning your scan before then. Ahhh, just enjoy the mystery until you know for sure, okay?

I've only had one appt!!! Our US is Wednesday, so we'll see. I really think my dates are just off. But then tonight I was nauseated, and thought, maybe 2? I'm also still dead tired!! Not just needing some sleep, like struggle to bring my arms over my head! I'm exhausted.

So, I'm flopping like you are! But I will make my final vote for you to be a singleton!!! Can't wait to hear tomorrow!!! And Wednesday will be my day! I couldn't have stood the suspense as long as you!

Wow you find out Weds! That's awesome! And, it was your first appt. Hmmmmm...

Well, maybe I'm multiple mama #7 and you're #8. Or we're both having singletons that throw us for a loop! I'm everything you are (and other stuff) but not nauseaus. So, we sound alike for sure!

Linzie - I think you o'ed earlier than what FF says....I could see CD25 like anonymousk suggested. What happens if you take out the +OPK? Were you temping at the same time every day because your temps are really all over the place? I guess the other thing that puts a doubt in my mind is that you BDed 7 days before o...that is a heck of a long time for the sperm to hang around. I will be curious to find out what your MW says!

Yes, I was having DH take my temp at the exact same time every morning when he woke up for work. My bedtime was variable, though, and DD was still crazy night nursing.

I haven't tried taking out the pos OPK, maybe I will. I think I want to stop staring at the chart, tho!!! We'll see on Wednesday. (But I kinda feel like I don't want to base a date on US. Maybe we'll take an average or just go with the latest. If you hear an earlier date, tho, it's hard to ignore that when you're big and pg and that day comes and goes!!!!!! MW doesn't care about how "overdue" you are, tho.)
