non-plastic toddler dishes? - Page 2

Oops! I thought you were asking for non-toxic plastic dishes. What about wooden plates and bowls from Camden Rose?

We also use regular dishes with my 2 year old. She eats at the table and doesn't throw dishes, so we have had no issues.
Have you looked into wooden dishes and untensils?

We use Ikea plastic plates, they have a reputation for BPA free plastic, so I feel okay with that...I just can't spend the money on the nice wood ones, I would love to have!

With my son I used plastic everything. But with my daughter, BPA was in the news, and I bravely started using the nice china "baby dishes" we'd received as gifts with both children, bunnykins and the like. They had literally sat in a cabinet for 3 years w/my son. I can't believe I was afraid to use them - very durable. I think it is a much more pleasant/permanent eating experience for kids to use real dishes which are heavier. And knock on wood - we've not had any breakage at all. now I use our everyday stuff a lot (they are almost 3 & 6)
