Babies! (A thread for 'outies') - Page 18

s NOS - I hate feeling out of sync with Michael over Alex, can't even begin to imagine what it must feel like when you don't have the "He doesn't know any better" excuse to cover things. For singing, I used to go through Beatls songs and sing the same verses over and over again when I couldn't remember all the words. My old stand-by was and is "Michael man, Michael man, Mommy's little Michael Man" - he still asks for me to sing this to him.

Mad props to me - I survived taking the two of them to our local Please Touch museum - Michael was in complete sensory overload and I actually lost him three times which is a first (and probably not the last). Alex woke up towards the end so I had to nurse him in a corner of one of the contained areas which worked out well, Michael didn't pull a Steve McQueen until Alex was done eating and I had the presence of mind to pull my shirt down over my breast before I ran out to find him

Thanks - sorry it took me so long to respond.

I just posted Alex's birth story on the blog if anyone wants to hazzard a look.

I called peds after hours and they said to bring him to the ped tomorrow...should I? I hate taking him to that germ festival.
s - as long as he's still eating and doesn't have a temp he should be fine, but always go with your gut. Alex has a stuffed up nose with yellow snot and I've had to do the saline and bulb syringe baby-torture combo a few times since the stuffieness has been enough to bother him - I can't aim well enough to squirt breastmilk up his nose, I always spray it over his face.
