ds#1 slept until almost ten this morning which was great because he had kept us up the two night previously. i thought it was supposed to be the baby that kept you up? haha. so i'm a little rested. tonight dh and ds#1 went to a monster truck show, so it is just me and the little one. i think we are going to go get in bed and watch tv.

the new baby has decided that his deep sleep should be in the afternoon and evening rather than at night. he still sleeps at night it is just restless and it keeps me up. i'm wondering how to fix to this because i try to wake him in the evening and he is just out.

another curious thing is that around 4 in morning he begins nursing in his sleep but it is like he isn't swallowing it good or something because he gurgles it. i wake up because it sounds like he is drowning in breast milk. i don't exactly know if i should be worried about it or not. it is only during those early in the morning feedings. he doesn't have a problem breathing or eating or swallowing during the day.

HCM-that is so cool that it is snowing there. i have lived in places where it snowed but never actually gotten to play in what i consider real snow. i don't think i would want to deal with it all the time, but it would be fun for a while.

yay for sleep! i honestly don't know what i'd do if DH wasn't so supportive of me napping whenever i can and staying in bed as late as i want to. he's been managing the kids and the house and everything but the baby and the diapers. it's been wonderful. i know it's exhausting when the OLDER kids are keeping you awake in addition to babytime.

yeah, we have snow. it's been an odd year here in that it snowed in november and we haven't seen the ground since then. we don't usually have winters like this here in southern new england, but it feels cozier to huddle inside with a baby when it's snowy out.

Dd#2 does this too. If you figure it out, let me know.

Glad to hear your ds#1 slept a bit more kehliouise, so you could to! Sleep makes all the difference, doesn't it HCM?

We have had a HUGE snowfall here in Toronto (Canada). I remember from being a kid when we'd have snowbanks as tall as us.....it hasn't been like that for years, but this week it has been.....too tall to take dd#1 out for tobogganing. Kind of fun.

Geez, such few posts yesterday! I was out of town and am catching up. I think I'll start today's thread....

Hugs to all.
