Anyone made a Wonderful Wallaby with Chunky Yarn?

I've got some cool "chunky print" Rowan wool I would LOVE to use for a Wonderful Wallaby sweater (I just recieved pattern in mail - looks awesome) Do you think I could use a chunky yarn for this sweater and how would I adjust? The gauge of the sweater size 8 needles - 9 sts = 2" The gauge of my yarn is size 13 needles - 11 sts = 4"

Any hope?

THe easiest way would be to figure out how big around you want it, and how many stitches in your yarn that would take, then look at the different sizes of the Wallaby and follow the pattern that has the closest cast on number.

Just remember to adjust the rate of decreases, too.

The Wallaby is a pretty simple knit, so if you are familiar with following patterns, it shouldn't be too crazy to adjust for your chunky yarn.
