the #3 post is good info on your question
Got it, thanks. I'll check back in a few days after AF starts - so don't bother adding me now. Still slightly hopeful for this cycle. Thanks JohnsCelticQueen for maintaining this thread!

BFN for me this morning too. This sucks. Every cycle keeps getting longer and longer. CD 48, all sorts of symptoms and no sign of anything changing anytime soon.
to everyone else whose bodies are playing nasty mind games with them.

Sorry about all of those awful BFNs.

Nicole R.... Thank you

Madalyn... Thank you, too. I LOVE Jon & Kate Plus Eight!!! I SO wish I could afford to go that route! But, it's really alot of money and if it doesn't work! Sorry about your BFN, I hope you get your AF or BFP VERY soon!

AAM... CD1, obviously nothing going on here! LOL

Everybody think reproductive thoughts!

Checking in...

Thanks for the new thread JohnsCelticQueen!!!

9dpo here and feeling pretty good. Trying not to obsess or get my hopes up... doing pretty good with that! I'm not sure when I'm going to test, still shooting for 18 dpo, but we'll see if I cave earlier than that.

to those with BFN and bodies playing tricks on them!

: to those waiting to know!
I'm waiting to know, though I don't know how far into the waiting to know I am. I'm either 2 or 6DPO, so I set O at 2DPO so I don't test too early. I'm just so confused.

Just subbing into the thread. Congrats, Tara, by the way, I'm not sure if I said that in the last thread yet or not. I was reading your what we did differently thread, and decided to look into the natural progesterone cream. Turns out it's not approved for non-prescription sale in Canada, and so I can't buy it up here.

AAM--10 dpo today. Have been having spotting some days and not others since 4dpo. Add to that that I'm feeling very crampy and emotional and just found a nasty chin zit, well, I think really I should be "waiting to flow" rather than waiting to know! It feels like my PMS symptoms are coming sooner and sooner every month. I can't wait for my appointment in May. It seems like such a long time away, considering that my doc referred me in December!

wow, so i am on my last day of Provera and it was amazing what it did to my crazy all over the charts anovulatory temps.
If progesterone raises temps based on how much you have in your system, then having a medically controlled dose every day would give you a pretty even level, so a pretty even high temp....... guess that is right! never seen anything so level!!
I even had to test my thermometer at a few other times to make sure it is working, and it is perfectly. i also think some of the credit to the newfound steadiness is from vaginal temping and leaving it in for a good minute plus even though it is a rapid read.

so a question is: Does anyone know any comparisons to the level of progesterone that i would expect to have in my body while on 10mg of Provera daily compared with the levels that i would have after a natural O and during my LP. I know it is going to crest and fell more in a natural LP but was pondering wether this temp level can give me a guideline as to what high temps my body produces? i wish i could have a progesterone test right now so i knew what the levels were, what i neat piece of info to have. i am just a scientist at heart, i love experiments!

I may not be a willing to be a science experiment for my my Goober Doctor, but I sure am one for Myself!!

THanks for the new thread!

CD14 here, still waiting to O, and hoping it's a late O since DH doesn't get home until Thursday night. I think I have a bladder infection, so I'm off to the clinic today. That should be fun with a toddler in -30* weather.

Waiting to O

Can you please move smartycat and me over to waiting to O? Thanks! Feel free to add my chart from my siggy if you'd like. Thanks for taking care of the thread.

This month I'm doing vaginal temps instead of oral and seeing what craziness comes from that. So far, my temps look kind of like a mountain chain with as varied as they are, and we're only 4 days into the cycle. The oral temps were a little low compared to others' harts, and were freaking my partner out a little. But I think I breathe through my mouth, so hopefully the temps will be a little higher and more accurate this time around.

I can't wait to start POAS for the LH surge! It's the little things in life that bring me joy.

Bummer!!

Well, I'm not charting but now I kinda wish I was so that I would know my exact O date. I thought it would be today but I am still feeling kinda "in the mood" so I don't think I have yet (my sex drive usually falls off a cliff after I O ). Not a huge deal, I suppose, I'll just wait til I'm late to test.

So, I guess I'm still "waiting to O" for now...will update in a day or two

Wish me luck! This is our first cycle TTC #2.

HELP!!!!!!!

Ok so I had a wild hair up my a$$ tonight and I tested after holding my pee for 5 hours with a $tree test and got a OBVIOUS BFP....so I took another, another, another, and another. I got count um 5 BFP's within the 5 min mark (using the same urine sample). So DH and I rushed to the store and picked up a Ept (5 days before your missed period) and a First Response (Rapid Results, it says to test the day your period is due, is that test different then the FRER???) Both of those were negative (with the same urine sample as the Bfp's) WTF??? The dollar tree ones are DEF not evaps, they show up as the urine runs across the screen.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really think I am pregnant, I got 5 bfp's, if my camera worked I would take pics but you would DEF be able to see the line. UGH!!! I'm going to test again in the morning, but DH leaves tomorrow so I just really wanted some def answers tonight!

I am 12 dpo today!
I am still praying my novena to St. Anne... with her prayers, hopefully all us TTCers will be seeing "double" - as in double lines - for a BFP!!

I am currently 5dpo today... I've been having really early symptoms up until today and including this morning... The last few days gave me heartburn, nausea and yellowish creamy CM (rare for me - can't remember if I had it when I was pregnant with Evan). I am fairly certainly I am just looking into things too much.

I will likely try to test next Monday morning if AF hasn't reared her ugly head by that time.

Aly22681... Ooooohhhhhh!!!!!! I think I'd trust the positives!!!!!! I hope you spend the next 9 months getting fat and counting kicks!!!!
I trust the positives too Aly!! I don't think you'd get 5 evaps! Good luck with the test tomorrow morning.
Aly22681 Sounds good! I would trust the BFPs (and maybe POAS in a couple days if you are still feeling uncertain.) But I'm so happy for you!
Aly Congrats! :

Rivka I think prog levels in early pregnancy (2ww/new bfp) are in the high teens/early 20's, but when you take progesterone it does tend to mimick pregnancy symptoms. About temps indicating pregnancy... I don't think they generally do (except the implantation stuff) b/c you have prog. every cycle wether you are pregnant or not. It might help you indicate how high the prog is though...

Me I took my first OPK today - negative (which is good). I'm on cd 10. My temps are still really high, which I guess is normal for clomid, but it's bugging the heck out of me! good thing I'll have the OPKs I guess to help confirm in case the #'s dont come down.
