More FO's, with obligatory cute baby pic...

First pair of longies on...

The Organic Guernsey- except, that it really isn't organic. It's blue instead.

I love the organic guernsey and it was a fun knit, but it's quite a snug fit. It sits well even on my 9.5lb newborn, so- you know- there's not a huge amount of growing room in there. I got gauge as well and everything. I guess you win some, you lose some?

Thanks

Josh's girl, I'm going to bind off the body again with a stretchier bindoff and block the living daylights out of it next time I wash it. I think it's just the pitfall of trying to grow my own rugby XV, that baby clothes don't seem to fit for long

Gorgeous, gorgeous!! (And so are the clothes ).

I think ou're probably right...those 9lb babies mess up all the "newborn" sizing... shoot, my 8 lb 4 oz ds2 messed up my plans of newborn outfits! My friend is given to 9-11 lb babies & just laughs at the clothes I collected for my babys newborn period.

Hop
e you get a bit more out of them w/ some blocking!

Oh my goodness, Helen. He is beautiful (as is your knitting). You are making me crave those surreal days of newborn bliss. Alas, no more babies at my house. Enjoy that little guy. Even though he is a sweet chunk of a babe, he is still so tiny compared to my sweet-but-getting-too-big-almost-3-year old. Lovely, lovely work!!! Congratulations!

He's so beautiful to look at, I can barely see your knitting! LOL:

Oh crikey he's beautiful. Nice knits, too, mama. Love that sweater.

These pics make me happy- the baby and the knitteds are just too gorgeous for words. Would that I could knit as well as you.

Congrats, mama- on works well done.

He is beautiful. I just want to kiss him. Your FOs are nice, too, but the baby is a work of art.

I can't wait to see my own wee babe in his new longies!
