I was thinking 2010 that seems like so long from now, and then I did the math. And that is abouth when I would like to have #3. I've decided 16 months is too close together. Especially with dh in school. He'll be done next summer, and then we'll have to move to wherever he finds a job. I moved pregnant last summer, and it wasn't my most favorite thing in the world. So idealy I would like to get pg again after we move so around aug-sep 2009. So that would mean baby #3 in the spring/summer of 2010.
Hopefully I have at least one of you amazing mama's in my next DDC.

Oh and Nikkitwist, I just want to say I really envy you. I would love for DH to be able to get prego just so he knows what it feels like, and hopefully be more sympathetic.

I think we're leaning towards Spring 2010 more as a conception date, maybe winter 2009. Anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years apart is ideal for me.

I wonder if it'll take longer to conceive the second one. With Ash it was like we just thought about it really hard and I was pregnant.

Yep.. the time between keeps getting longer for me.. but I want Jaz to be at least 2 1/2 before I get pregnant again.

I am hoping to wait 1 year to concieve again. I need to loose 80lbs before I will get pregnant again. I am 80lbs heavier then when I first got pregnant 18 months ago. I would like to try again Nov/Dec 09 for a Summer 2010 baby! Did I do the math right?? I am so sleep deprived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll probably be around that time... maybe a bit later. I like the 2.5 year difference we have between S & E so we might wait a bit longer.

totally. I saw an old friend who mentioned she was still producing milk even though she hadn't nursed in almost a year or so. i told her to feel free to come over late at night and help me out, but she hasn't taken me up on it yet.

Spring 2010 is when we planned to start trying again, but if I'm out of school before that and working, game's on. I'm really enjoying the 2 year age difference and would like to do it again.

Dh and I didn't "plan"either of our babies. So I may be.....but I like the big age difference. If I could plan it I would wait another 5 years or so.
I had to pack away all Solomons outgrown newborn stuff last week....sigh.
I had a six year gap where I didn't even hold a new baby...that was hard. I was in art school and having one was hard enough,but I sure did get baby fever bad when Dd was about 4.Now that I am done with school it may be harder to wait as long.
But I am terrified about getting pregnant right away. We haven't dtd yet though since Solomon was born. We had the pull and pray method work for a good four years..which is pretty amazing.But condoms suck, and I am not down with the pill...But it sure was a fun 9 months when we didn't have to worry about birth control...sigh
I am not counting on breastfeeding to work,with my first babe I got my period back about a month after my pp bleeding stoped!

i'm gonna get my IUD out next march, so my babes will be at least 2 yrs apart. but i'm not keen on another winter baby!

I'd like to aim for three years apart again. Hopefully it won't take too long next time. I swear I'll hit a fertility clinic much faster the next time if necessary.
