yes ma'am, i got the paragard today. i've had the mirena in the past, and i liked it a lot, but i decided against it this time around for a couple reasons - 1 because i'm paranoid about hormones affecting milk supply (i know, mirena is SO low dose and progestin-only but it's a paranoia) and 2 because i'm not terribly fertile and i'd like to start charting before the IUD comes out and i start TTC.

i hadn't thought about dates, but i have thought that i'd like to bf for a year before getting pg, so that means i'd like to have the next one (counting on fingers here) around fall/winter 2009!
