Resources for visualization scripts?

I wonder if there is such a thing -- I remember reading in The Birth Partner or The Doula Book a couple of scripts to use to help clients do visualizations -- you know, walking through a forest and that sort of thing.

Frankly, that stuff never really worked for ME but certainly it does for others. Since it doesn't come naturally to me, it seems like using scripts would be at least a good jumping-off point. What do you all do? Thanks!

PS I am a doula-in-training, working towards being DONA-certified.

One of the stem cell banking companies has a nice Labor and Birth book that they sent me months and months ago to give to clients and it has a nice guided imagery exercise in it. I loan it out to couples to try and if they like it they can copy it for their own use.

Books for Visualization

Definitely pick up the book Birthing from Within put together by the Doula-organized Birthing from Within community. It is not only beautifully written, but has amazing techniques for a peaceful pregnancy and birth.

Also, check out HypnoBirthing, The Mongon Method by Marie F. Mongan. Even if you do not plan to have or facilitate a HynoBirth, there are beautifully written visualizations...and many of them too.
