Have you ever heard of this book?

I was just loaned a book by a teacher called "Workjobs" by Mary Baratta-Lorton. It is SO Montessori, yet never once uses the word. Very strange. Anyway, I just checked Amazon and they carry it with Workjobs 2!! I have already made a couple of the materials out of the book and have to say that I highly recommend it. I like the old vintage 70's feel of the children and the pictures, too. I also found "Teach Me To Do It Myself" and Workjobs is very similar. Just thought I'd share!!

Here's one of the projects from the book that I just made and my kids are fighting over it!

I haven't - I'll have to check it out.

Does it have any Montessori ideas for the older child? My daughter, Teagan, is almost 5 and will be starting her last primary year (technically the Kindergarten year).....

Yeah, most of the kids look to be about Kindy or 1st grade. There are word and addition/subtraction activities in the book. Definitely for pre-K through about 1st or 2nd.
