Stomach getting smaller? **Update**

I am 39 weeks and 4 days, and I have noticed my stomach is getting smaller. Is that normal at the end of pregnancy? Does that mean she is moving down more to start labor?

like your fundus is getting lower?
I think that means that your baby is dropping into your pelvis! How exciting!

i am already measuring smaller this week! (at 35 weeks, i measured 35. now, at 37, i am measuring 35.) so, i think my babe is 1) getting way head down/engaged and 2) small.

have your measurements been consistent up to this point? are you ahead or behind?

also, just so i don't worry myself...i remember that measurements are just averages and not always true indicators of my own individual babe!

but, in general, it's probably smalller b/c your babe's dropped down into position! yay!

Yep, I agree with the other ladies. My babe dropped a bit over a week ago, and it was noticeable to me as soon as I woke up - even dh noticed the change.

I have been measuring normal. My next appointment isn't until Wednesday. I have also been having sharp pains 'down there' all night. I hope this means she will come soon!

It is 4:45 a.m. where I am and my water just broke!!!! Contrctions are 7 mins apart.

You all have to wait for my birthstory.... My baby is definatly taking after her dad with being stubborn. I went to my doctor because they wanted to check me out before I went to the hospital and they sent me home. I am still here with no baby in my arms, I seriously thought it was time Still contracting though.
